Send your first SMS campaign
Build a contact list, write a message, schedule (or send now), and track delivery in real time.

Once your SMS gateway is connected, you can blast SMS to your contact list. WaSMS rate-limits sends to keep your SIM safe.
1. Import contacts
Go to Contacts → Import. Upload a CSV with at minimum a phone column.
2. Create the campaign
- Go to Campaigns → + New campaign.
- Pick SMS as the channel.
- Select your SMS gateway.
- Choose your audience.
- Write your message. Use
{{name}}to personalize.
3. Schedule or send now
- Send now — queues immediately, throttled to rate limit.
- Schedule — pick a date/time.
4. Track delivery
The campaign detail page shows live counts: Sent / Delivered / Failed / Replied.
Best practices
- Do not spam — carriers block SIMs that send too much too fast.
- Include an opt-out — “Reply STOP to unsubscribe”.
- Send at sensible hours.
- Test first with 10 recipients.
